It’s down to the singles semifinals and the doubles final today!

Savannah Broadus and her partner, Sonya Zhiyenbayeva, have taken out yet another seeded team on their quest for the Austin crown. The pair dropped only five games and now advance to face the top seeds, Victoria Osuigwe and Alana Smith. For the No. 1 seeds, a win today would mark their second title together this year—their first coming at the W35 in Arcadia.

For Alana Smith, a victory would bring her to four titles this year and fifteen total in her career. Both teams feature a senior leader paired with a rising younger player, setting the stage for a fantastic doubles final.

For Savannah Broadus, a title today would bring her to seven career doubles titles, with four of them coming in 2025. And for Kazakhstan’s Sonya Zhiyenbayeva, a win would secure her first-ever pro doubles title.

In the singles draw, the semifinals are heating up as our final four battle for a spot in the championship match. Who will advance to the finals?

On the top half of the bracket, we have No. 1 seed Anastasia Gasanova taking on No. 4 seed Mai Hontama. Gasanova comes in with the higher current ranking, but Hontama holds the edge with the higher career peak. This will be their first-ever meeting, and for Hontama, the stakes feel especially high as she looks to push through to another final.

On the bottom half, No. 7 seed Mary Stoiana takes on Ekaterina Khayrutdinova in another first-time matchup. Both players have been dominant this week, reaching the semifinals without dropping a single set.

Stay tuned to see who emerges victorious in today’s matchups.
